Errata

Cuff Section:

Attention knitters! In the written instructions for the Right Cuff Pattern, there is an error in Row 12 where the stitch count is incorrect. Please update that line to read as follows:

Row 12 [WS]: P1, k1, p1, k2, p1, k4, p1, k1, p3, k5, p1, k1, p1.

Stitch Count on Hand:

It’s important to keep track of your stitch count, especially while working on the thumb gussets. Be aware that the stitch count for the Leaf pattern on Needle 1 will increase! For Rounds 18-31 of the Leaf pattern, there should actually be a total of 18 stitches. Therefore, the stitch counts for the thumb gusset rounds will be off by 5 stitches. Below, I've copied the relevant section specifically for the Right Hand, but remember to apply the same correct stitch counts to the Left Hand as well.

Thumb Gusset Instructions:

  • Next Round: Work in pattern all the way to the end of Needle 1; then knit 7 stitches, place a marker, knit 1 stitch, then perform a make 1 right (M1R), followed by a make 1 left (M1L), knit 1 stitch, place another marker, and finally work in pattern to the end. You should now have a total of 54 (58, 62) stitches.

  • Increase Round: Continue to work in pattern until you reach the first marker, knit 1 stitch, perform a make 1 right (M1R), then proceed to knit to one stitch before the next marker.

This carefully corrected pattern provides you with the essential details you need for a successful knitting experience. Make sure to follow along with each stitch carefully and verify your counts to achieve the best possible results. Happy knitting!
