In our home, we affectionately refer to this charming knit hat as the "Cupcake Hat" or "Sundae Hat" for my little ones. To add a fun twist, I often use colors that resemble their favorite cakes or ice creams for the bottom portion, while the top color mimics a delicious icing shade. To make it even more whimsical, you can crochet or knit a cute little cherry to top it off, just like a sundae! PATTERN SIZE(S): Toddler (18-36 months), Child (4-10), Adult. This beanie fits head circumferences measuring 17 (19, 22) inches, ensuring a comfortable fit for everyone in your family.

Materials Needed: For this project, you will require Size 13 (9mm) Clover Takumi Needles, both 16-inch circular needles and double-pointed needles (DPNs) for the crown decrease. You'll need Yarn: Wool Ease Thick and Quick, specifically in the colors “Wheat and Fisherman.” The total yardage required is approximately 70 (88, 90) yards, including yarn for the pom-pom. Additionally, you will need 1 stitch marker and a Clover 4-inch Pom Maker to complete your hat. This beanie is perfect for cozy winter days and makes a wonderful gift for family and friends!
