Ellianna Dishcloth & Towel

$2.00

Introducing the delightful 4th dishcloth pattern in our exclusive series, inspired by the remarkable women in my family. This particular design is named after my sweet young niece, who adores the charming heart-like stitches adorning the fabric. This dishcloth pattern is classified as an intermediate beginner project. While it isn't overly complicated, mastering the technique for creating the loops that form the hearts may require a bit of practice. Don't worry—I’ve included detailed pictures to guide you through each step of the process. To ensure the loops lay smoothly, we recommend turning them counterclockwise; however, in some instances, this step may be unnecessary if the stitch is already positioned flat and untwisted. I genuinely hope you find joy in crafting this pattern as much as I have. For my sample, I used Hobby Lobby's I Love This Cotton yarn, complete with a touch of sparkle for added visual appeal. However, if you intend to use this dishcloth as a washcloth for your face or body, I advise opting for the non-sparkle versions of this yarn, as the added shimmer can make it feel slightly scratchy against the skin. Feel free to substitute with any worsted weight cotton yarn of your choice for the best results. Currently, I do not have photos of the larger tea towel size, but I will upload those images shortly. I created this pattern using US size 7 knitting needles, ensuring a comfortable project for any skill level. Happy knitting!
