Circle Vest Bulky Weight
Explore our circle vest knitting pattern, also available in [aran weight][1] and [4 yarn weights][2] options!
The bulky weight version of the circle vest offers a quick and enjoyable knitting experience on size 11 needles, making it the perfect choice for creating a cozy vest or shrug to warm you during fall and winter. This vest is not only easy to knit but also utilizes the inherent stretch of ribbing to ensure a flattering and comfortable fit. The clever design features knit stitches along each side of the ribbing, creating a built-in edge that enhances the armholes.
This versatile vest comes in two delightful variations: one with playful ruffles for a more stylish look, and another without ruffles for a sleeker, more fitted appearance. The sample was beautifully crafted using 3 skeins of Cascade 220 Heathers in color 9447. It was knitted loosely and then fulled (or felted) to achieve a cozy bulky weight with a gauge of 3 stitches per inch. The finished dimensions include a 32” chest circumference and 16” armholes, making it suitable for various body types.
