Cashmere Chemo Hat

Last year, I received a diagnosis of a form of ovarian cancer. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to catch it very early, which meant I only needed surgery and not chemotherapy. However, many others aren't as fortunate in their journeys. When the owner of the Chianti Cashmere farm mentioned that someone had suggested using their incredibly soft yarn for creating a chemo hat, I felt inspired to write a pattern that could help bring some comfort to those in need. This pattern marks my inaugural publication, so it's a bit nerve-wracking for me! My hope is that you can use this design to knit something beautiful and meaningful for someone facing tough times. A handmade chemo hat can provide not only warmth but also a sense of love and support during challenging moments.
