Please note that the gauge is not critical, as the yarn used will expand when blocked. Keep in mind that variations in tension may affect both the size of your finished blanket and the amount of yarn required.

This pattern is designed with versatility in mind, allowing you to easily adjust the size to suit your needs. To increase the width, simply cast on additional stitches in multiples of 4. If you’d like a longer blanket, expand the moss stitch section to include 6 or 8 rows instead of the standard 4. For the stocking stitch sections, you can increase from 6 to 8 rows for a longer finish. Additionally, feel free to repeat the entire pattern sequence more than four times to create an oversized blanket that will be cherished for years.
